IPCC brings Portsmouth, RI neighbors together through local traditions like the New Year's Day Polar Dive, the Sakonnet Coastal Bike & Stroll, seawall cleanups and more. All our events are free, family-friendly and open to everyone!

What we do

We are a grassroots 501(c)(3) helping Island Park stay fun, welcoming and connected year-round.

  • Neighborhood gatherings

    From the Polar Dive to the Bike & Stroll and porch concerts, we create reasons to meet your neighbors outside.

  • Coastal stewardship

    Bi-annual seawall cleanups and other volunteer days keep our shoreline a place everyone can enjoy.

  • Car-free coastal fun

    The Sakonnet Coastal Bike & Stroll and similar events celebrate safe, traffic-free time on Park Ave and the coast.
